Hi, I’m Megha.

I’m a visual artist, designer, and the agent of chaos behind Sanchari Studio.

I make visual work that moves — across mediums, meanings, and materials. I paint on canvas, walls, furniture... and inevitably on myself. I shoot both still moments and styled photos. Some works are influenced by my South Asian roots. Others are just things that feel right. I don’t like to stay in one lane, and I don’t think art should either.

Why "Sanchari" ?

In Sanskrit, Sanchari means a wanderer — someone always in motion.

Broadly, in classical Indian dance, a sanchari is an emotive variation — a moment that expands the story. In music, it’s a melodic detour that explores something unexpected before returning home.

That’s what this studio is:
A space to explore without restraint.
